Waiting for the Moments Alone In Anticipation of You

Waiting for the Moments Alone In Anticipation of You

A Poem by A

I want to run to a forest

the trees envelop the sky

as the sun struggles to seep through

where the rain

is constant and cleansing

the only thing powerful

the flowers blossom

the natural scents

of oak and evergreens

overwhelm my senses

the silence of nowhere near

the kisses of the spirit

are ever so dear

and intimate

I wait upon my old wood floors

the nudeness of my body penetrating heat

the fire crackling in the corner

the rain slowly showering upon

my little haven

deep in the woods

nowhere to be found

no one to seek

Still I wait

to be found

the clues

placed

much more

cleverly then hansel and gretel

I lie and wait as the kettle whistles

I hear a small patter

less natural

real

abrupt

I make my way

trying to contain

my anticipation

as I dream of

who it could be

the mystery just beyond that old wood

the entrance of this life I chose

For myself

Alone

I turn the knob

and allow my eyes to peep

my body just barely concealed

It’s you

Your lips turn into a grin

the fresh rain

taking a slow dance upon your red lips

as you

make your way

inside

your eyes

saying all the moments passed by

all the time lost

as your lips

greet

each part of my body

my body once alone

never to be again

Sometimes is good to visit old accounts. There is hidden lot of treasures like this poem. Reader can feel nature and forest from your words. It's great journey where our imagination can develop our own unique landscape. I can smell pine trees burned at summer heat and wind is whispering through my ears. It's wonderful poem.
