Intertwined Under the Old Oak

Intertwined Under the Old Oak

A Poem by A

Meet me when the first star shines
Sit under the old oak with me
Watch as the world slowly silences
The whispers of good night
The chances gone
What could have been
The end
The beginning
The hope of tomorrow
The sorrow of today
Kiss me under that stars
The stars that have now taken center stage
Choose one
Watch the moon
Picture you and me together
Under our moon
In another world
In another moment
Feel my love shower over you
Let the moon guide your eyes as they search for mine
The stars are ready to perform as our bodies dance
Two have become one
Under this old oak
Beneath the stage of another world
Tonight
In this moment
Two intertwined now equal one

Maude: Well, if some people get upset because they feel they have a hold on some things, I'm merely acting as a gentle reminder: here today, gone tomorrow, so don't get attached to things. Dream as.. more..
