A Poem by A

I can’t keep you off my mind

How wrong this is

How right this feels

When our eyes meet

I know you feel it too

Others may say

How different

How it will never work

Doubt

It gives me more of a reason to try

I want to kiss

you in the rain

To feel the tenderness of your lips, your hands, your gentle eyes

Feel your lips upon mine

The dreams that I fall into each night

Your hands hold me tight

Upon your body

Just perfectly fit into me

I want you

I need to try

Trying

What is there

The feelings are real

Don’t watch my heartbreak

Jump with me

We can runaway together

You and Me

Bonnie and Clyde

No one will ever know

No one will ever follow

All I am

We are real

Let’s Jump Together

Intertwine your hands with mine

Let your lips melt into mine

Fall into all of Me

Here we Go

You are a lover and a poet. Clear, concise and compelling poetry here. Well written from your heart.

My proverbial hat goes off to you once again. The Bonnie and Clyde reference is my favorite. That's how true love should be between people; unpredictable...illogical...and passionate. Not "here is a box of Sweethearts" passionate. But "pedal to the metal, honey, the cops are gaining" passionate.
