Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by A

Solitude

The state of being

The state of isolation

away from you

away from me

time to think

time to breathe

peaceful, serene

not always for everyone

solitude

it will

 or

it can

choose you

you can choose it

maybe its meant for you

or meant for them

solitude

out on a dock

not a ripple in the water

nor a cloud in the sky

no one watching

no one interrupting

out in a cabin

snowed in

curled by the fire

alone with the ever ending words of someone else

no annoyance

only you

never have to argue

never conflicts

or consideration

alone in the depths of aforest

no temptation to sway you away

from the path you grasp so tightly

as the right way

yet maybe

just maybe

you might get lonely

just a little sad

that no one is tehre to share it with you

no one is there for you

just you alone in solitude

is it worth all you face by being with them?

or

is it worth never feeling the warm touch upon your skin?

solitude

is it right for you?

now?

never?
