Fade Away

Fade Away

A Poem by A

The second it took off

With me in its arms

I wanted to scream

To jump

Walking through the tunnel

I could have run

I could be gone

Right now

Running away

From it all

My prized education

My so called family

Everything that I think is mine

But

Really nothing is

What would I lose?

What could I gain?

I want to jump aboard

A fast moving train

And watch the landscape

Fade into oblivion

As I begin new

New for me

Just me

All me

this is great... powerful and inspirational... when life seems to leave you behind it is time to find new adventures.

LOVE this. LOVE it.

I can just see the train moving and just green grasses and trees moving as it seems like you are riding into a new world. LOVE LOVE this. I dunno it just hit the spot for me. Great piece!

Keep writing!
