State of Comfort

State of Comfort

A Poem by A

The comfort of your breath

My eyes gently

brush over your silhouette

You hold me

Wrapped into your arms

I feel whole

With you

I feel safe

I feel free

I feel

I am

Can I start new?

Was our goodbye forever?

Later on

Down the paths

Would I melt if you came?

If you wrapped your arms

Around

My figure

Like you did each summer night

The nights I was crumbling you held me tight

You were my knight

     My prince

     My everything

My longings

Of the past

Of the broken

Makes me

Weak

Needy

Would I be strong?

Would I ever be able to push you away?

Your gentle eyes

Pass through me

I surrender all

Your kisses

Make me touch

Make me reach

Belief

Imagine

life       without

Unthinkable

Impossible to be possible

Present

Now

…Where are you?

Poem is amazing. The flow and movement of the words is very good. I like the emotion and desire in the words. The ending lines tossed me a bit. I like this poem. A excelelnt poem. Thank you.
