Gratitude to the One

Gratitude to the One

A Poem by A

Father,

Thank you for the blue skies, the birds that sing, the stars that dance upon your sky each night.

Thank you for allowing each of us to be in your show. You know each of us intimately.

We are all stars in your eyes.

Thank you for allowing each one of us to be unique. You hand crafted each of us as an individual.

Thank you for creating bonds between us as brothers and sisters before you.

Thank you for sharing and showing us the gift of love. Thank you for family unto which we were each born into.

Thank you for the opportunities you lay before us. Thank you for our bodies you so carefully constructed. You allowed us freedom.

We can choose our paths, if it may be right or left.

You are always there before us to hold us when we seek forgiveness.

Stay with us in all times.

Let us breathe and live through each moment you gift us with.

Guide us even when we are not looking.

I love you, Lord, forever and always.

That sounds like a great father and how wonderful of you to pay tribute to him and show your appreciation. A parent should nurture but let you grow the way you want... that is how my mom was... I enjoyed this very much
