If I'm Gone

If I'm Gone

A Poem by A

The weakness surges

Racing through my veins

Pulses through my heart

I said goodbye

Trying

To accept closure

       Death

   Can I accept death?

Is death closure

Is death a runaway?

Is closure running away from something?

If I’m gone

My weakness

Won’t give way

Can’t take over me

  Closure will surround

All deep within

All surroundings

Will be serene

All losses

Will be found

If I’m gone

All will be healed

All will be to begin again

If I’m gone….
