A Midnight Kiss

A Midnight Kiss

A Poem by A

The sun against skin feels like kisses on you

You capture a gaze as the sun sets below

hand in hand, two in two

moonlight shimmers above, time begins to slow

swirling around to never touch

catching reflections, you and me

the love evolving already too much

not knowing of time we flee

into the deep blue below

my breath quickens its pace

the water and love surrounds in a flow

your heart weaves through me leaving but a trace

our eyes take a final glance

as our lips connect in a dance..
