It's in the Rain

It's in the Rain

A Poem by A

Rain

        The skies open

                        Each drop heals

           Touchdown

   Heals

           Trees

           Flowers

           Birds

           Babies

           Thirst

           Love

New found joy

                In each drop

                                Come from the heavens above

        Clean

        Pure

Unlike so many of Us

As if God Himself is taking away

                           Our depression

                           Our desperation

                           Our heartache

                           Our lies

                           Our enemies

                           Our evil

He whispers

                “Be free my little one”

Grow

        My little flower

Let

        Your petals shine

        Your vines grow tall

        Your seeds blossom

Let Go

Let In

Let Love

Be You

Be Soul

Be Heart

….Free. Rain. You. Me…

IITR has a wonderful staccato feel to it.. I Like the quick spurts
of energy...Great opening with a good sport image.. TD
The last run of quick phrasing: 3 Let, 3 Be capped off
with ...Free. Rain. You. Me... was a sublime way to end.
Kudos Anna
