Water Shows the Hidden

Water Shows the Hidden

A Poem by A

It never accepts less

When my mask is on, it washes off

Takes its tears

                Caressing each wound

   Healing my wounds

Making my soul whole once again

Allows my eyes to feel again

                                Clears my vision

                   With my own tears

I close my eyes

                Look up

My heart, broken,

                              Begins to grow

   A flower with water

Grow

Grow

Two to make one

Pain to find love

Fully Clothed

                Peeling away each layer

        Seeps into my raw nakedness

Allows me to look

Feel myself

                Every hair

                Every muscle

                Every bone

It

Knows me

        Sees me

        Comforts me

It…?

It is in the Rain..
