Normal. Good. Life.

Normal. Good. Life.

A Poem by A

Is it Normal?

To have thoughts

Cross your mind

Filled with ways to end

Your journey

To see a car and wonder

If I jumped in front

To see pills

and wonder If I took just one to many

To see a knife

and to think how wondrously it would fill up the emptiness by letting it gently kiss your skin

Is it Life?

To hate all

To hurt everyday

To cry every minute

To run and not know where you’re going

Is it Good?

To curl up into a ball

To crash on the fall

To hide under your covers

As a waterfall

Emerges from your eyes

Can this All just be a Normal, Good Life?

I like the play with words with the title... Of course, the arrangement is different in the verse... Normal- life - good... I see also you give the reader to ponder with a last line... you cover the bases here...

The question every writer one day has to ask themself... One we can never truely answer. For what is reality but a judgment made by the more socially accepted and those who conform with others to the point of alienment. Very well writen.
