Shut off the voices

Shut off the tears

The fears

Shut down

Who I am

Who I once was

Who I would be

Who I never will be

What if

I’m mad

Furious

You didn’t finish

What you started

What if

I’m mad you didn’t

Beat me

            Harder

Beat me

            To death.
