Sonnet XXIV (Dylan Revisited)
Night
is fast approaching, it’s getting
too dark to see and I
need to lose these blues, rid that
black cloud we all can see.
I’m
“knocking, knock, knocking" on
Revolution’s door. Long ago we fought
the “Man” who put us down, he laughed
at all the miseries he caused.
So,
I’m “knock, knock, knocking" on Revolution’s
door, working to learn and apply
this liberating path, one that
will
free the spirit from the cell; the one
that follows along the Avakian Trail. I’m
knocking on Revolution’s door.
