Love Sonnet XXI (Part 2)

There, in the light of starbursts

you stood, Jupiter glistened in

your hair and Mars twinkled

in your eyes, while your

skin reflected the moon and

Venus was heard on your tongue.

You spoke in Europa’s icy words

of Plains and frozen seas, where

Time, seen as an arrow’s flow,

whispered the secrets of nebula

and cosmic collisions, creating the

elements of life spread throughout

the galaxies. There, in the threads of entanglement,

my lips met yours in chaotic harmony.
