Love Sonnet XVII

Love Sonnet XVII

Love Sonnet XVII

In the darkness of night,

I lie, dream-waking, and feel

the warmth of you next to me,

cuddling, with your leg

nestled across my thigh,

your breath flavoring my thoughts,

and I dare not move in fear

of waking you and losing

this dream-like desire. Love,

I feel your heart rhythm release

your daytime worries, and

calm my rivers of discontent.

My Love, in these sleep-time hours,

we drift in the Sea of Tranquility.

A romantic scene , dream-like, where our poet enjoys and don't like to lose or even disturb. Holding on to love and his lover is a very delicate thing.
Marvelous Redzone.
