Love Sonnet XIV

Love Sonnet XIV

A Poem by redzone
"

....Willow Creek singing

"

Love Sonnet XIV

I can remember, over and over,

combing your hair with my fingers,

its softness of red

tickling my heart.

There was an earthy feel

as you turned to face the morning sun,

singing to the 4 directions

of your womanly presence

as the flow of Willow Creek

spoke in riddles to the trees,

deer, and chickadees,

who would come, drink the wildness

and aroma caught

in the melody of your song.

Wow ... this was captivating and so beautiful You make me want to brush my hair before bed and wear something a little more beguiling that a over-sized sweater and gi pants.

Again this was just so splendid.

don't know Pryde, but brushing your hair would be one way to just enjoy being with you,
very heartwarming. the first line was really moving. "over and over" it's such a simple and subtle way to say "i love you."
