Love Sonnet XIII

October rules the season where

a full moon shines upon

brooms flying, as ghosts and ghouls

emerge from their sleep to

roam through lonely streets.

It reminds me of how sparks

arc from your fingertips

raising goosebumps on my skin and,

racing my heart to the beat

of Autumn’s wind scurrying

leaves, this way, and that.

My love, your crisp air beauty

ignites my primordial nature,

in the season of the Witch.
