Neruda - Soneto XVII

Neruda - Soneto XVII

A Poem by redzone
"

Neruda's pen flows sensuality....

"

Neruda " Soneto XVII

My mouth opens,

my tongue tastes your name

whispered on your breath.

There is desire here,

a wanting to have your hands on me,

to undress me with your passion

and lips of honey’d words.

The desire to know there is no space,

where you end and I begin.

There is a place where

your eyes seek the darkness in me,

seek out the layers of skin

covering dust and bone

of what could have been.

Time advances in darkness,

in the expansion of space,

fueled by dark matter and energy.

I have found there is also a constant

in the fabric of your body,

in the way you sway to my pulsar heart.

My mouth opens,

my tongue tastes your name,

as it floats along solar wind.

Highly romantic, magically ecstatic. You are in a league with Neruda, WOW.
I like how the author uses space ideas to show his heavely love.
You are passionate about love and poetry Aztec Warrior.
Marvelously written.

"My mouth opens
my tongue tastes your name..."

I love how these two lines were the introduction and closure of this very sensual poem. Of course, having Marvin Gaye as your wing man gave it just the right touch for me. How thrilled I am to see you posting again, Curt. I do hope this is a promise of what's to come!
