Who do you love?

Did you ever love?

Maybe I should ask,

can you love?

 

Undone

that’s what happened

when I fell for you.

Burn, crash

and when I jumped

into the unknown,

there were only jagged rocks

below;

now blood splattered,

red body parts scattered,

I came undone.

 

Sometime later,

when the darkness

and shadows faded,

gave way to a landscape

filled with colors,

I saw green again.

The blues,

with red flecks

wilted over dead trees,

but it was all good.

 

As the poet writes,

and metaphors began to sing

about lost unicorns

and the faerie kingdom of

Gildeshi,

you remained,

and standing over me,

you unwrapped my heart.

 

I came undone
