I keep Falling

I keep Falling

A Poem by redzone
"

....perhaps one day the aanswer will come

"

I keep Fallin’

I live in Winter’s season,

the cold stings my cheeks,

my joints freeze with aches;

it’s been years since Summer’s warmth

has touched my skin.

Yet, I can still feel your touch,

still see a smile curve your lips

red with a strawberry glow,

and taste your Shalimar scented breasts.

Why?

Why, after all these Winter winds,

this frozen snow

do I feel your Springtime sun

wrap itself around me?

Why,

after barren trees

droop in brown ochres

do I see your red hair

dangle on  my chest

when you lay with me;

your leg resting across my thighs?

Why?

Why, after all this time

do I still fall,

fall into the mist of your mouth

as you move through space

that has no time,

yet pulls me into emptiness,

falling into your shadows of oblivion?

what a wonderful immersing of the seasons into this mournful love poem...oh those memories...
they never go away....seasons change, winters come...but the warmth of a once love can really
keep us nestled comfortable and toasty.
