Clair of the MoonA Poem by redzone... she is there, in the sea of Tranquility...Clair
of the Moon Debussy
saw Clair in the moon, her
hair sparkled in its beams as
she rode the stars and
galaxies of
the black night. As
his fingers swept the keys, and
pulsed my mental imagery, she
sat next to me in
midnight bliss, gave
my cheek a tender kiss, then
flew away as
daylight caught the
waves caressing Eastern shores. In
the moon I see Clair, feel
the notes announce her beauty and
know she is far far away riding
stars and galaxies in
midnight black. Gone, not
coming back, I’m
left with nothing but
this piano melody and
her face I
see in the moon. Aztec
