TouchA Poem by redzone...another April Poem...POEM #4 - Poetry Month
Standing within the circle of the Tree of Life, I find myself wandering in a universe both balanced, unbalanced, and watching as the Ash grows, then releases its leaves. Orange, yellow, brown and red displays, as time folds, then unfolds in synchronistic causality.
How is it possible that you stand near me smiling, almost touching, but when I reach out to you, you are far away, vanishing in life’s shadows.
As I strain to understand the why’s of shadow, I am beginning to realize it is the depth and thickness of the roots, what you believe, is the key to cognition; to life’s balance and synchronicity, and to being able to reach out, touch you, to join you in these shadows.
