Anywhere Anytime

Anywhere Anytime

... another Friday night "scribble"

Anywhere Anytime

Fantasy is a strange concurrence,

it allows dreams,

and sometimes, desires,

to fly into occurrence

on a star enhanced night.

Some Blues play

in your shadow

and I hear you say

with a ‘come on’ melody,

“anywhere I am,

there you are, too.

So, walk with me in midnight blue,

wrap me in indigo

and points of light,

kiss my rainbow lips

with your anytime fire.”

So, I walk with you

into these shadows,

into your indigo dreams

smiling, thinking,

anytime I am here,

there you are too,

and I would walk anywhere

with you.

Fantasy is a strange concurrence,

but there you are

and I am there too.

Every time.

You string words like a violin - straight to the heart. Such a beautiful refrain, Curt!

Fantasies....they are always with us bursting with color, and brimming with music. Walk into those shadows with her....she will find you. There is a security of love in this one, Curt....and the romance, well, it always draws me in. Nice to read you again. Lydi**

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Of course, you know I love this musical selection. And you can probably guess that I'm imagining myself in this situation you've described so well, so intensely, so realistically. I love the "play" on the old saying "Wherever you go, there you are" (a book by Jon Kabat-Zinn) . . . which I like even better in this altered form of yours. I've known this feeling, of being with someone even when they aren't around, or maybe even when they've never been around . . . but all in all, the connection can be amazingly strong and palpable. You've gotten that across in a way that's reassuring & relatable. Always love reading you, my friend (((HUGS)))

wherever you go in life, there you are....and hopefully you are not alone---

like the mood of this piece...and the safeness the speaker feels with her.
