Sorry I haven't been on this website in a few months & I've missed reading you. This is truly a gem amongst your many gems. I love finding out that yellow is your favorite color before reading this, becuz it intensified the already-pretty-intense sensations conveyed thru-out when you speak & repeat the word "Yellow" (almost as if the color itself were the lover). I always love the way your mind works, meandering along a winding path thru the surprising observations inside your always-original life experiences & memories. These are like little story-trails across the sky of your imagination.
A wonderful, whimsical write. Yellow is such an underappreciated color. Even myself, I don't like yellow (red being my favorite) but you made this poem into something beautiful. Nicely done :)

Superbly done Sir. I think this goes so well with the flow Of Ana's piece and you capture the softness of the scenes perfectly. The verse with the horizon's infinity really stands out to me, although that's not to take anything away from the rest of the piece. Kudos.

She is alive and your words are alive, Curt!
"Words the colors of the sun
are woven into stars,
into Chopin’s etudes
music that shines
just for you."
Indeed, Ana's words ARE music, but in this poem, you are the conductor making them sound even sweeter. What a beautiful tribute to one of WC's finest poets! Lydi**

dear Curt... poetry is all about painting words to color emotions. "They are yellow and she belongs to the wind, to the howl, to the poet's hands." Thank you for introducing me to Coldplay....
Life is about discovering.... I will read Ana's poem... truly, Pat
