Sun Blindness

The sun doesn’t always

come up smiling. Sometimes,

sometimes it rises with fire

on its breath

and burns a hole in your chest

where your heart use to be.

Sometimes the sun’s so hot, so bright

it leaves you without sight.

I know this is true

cause for a while,

I was blinded by you.

WOW....one of my very favorite songs from way back when and the words you have written complement that song so perfectly, Curt. The sun, just like love, is not always a good thing. Sometimes it hurts....it burns and leaves a scar. Oh so nice. Lydi**

Oh, this stings.
The sun can definitely bring tears to the eyes.

Welcome! :)

An all-too common occurrence when it comes to relationships. Those fires can emanate from passion yet still leave one burned. Red flags are often overlooked as well.
