Transcending

Transcending

Transcending

our world is a place of hurt,

it sobs uncontrollably

filling oceans with

an endless supply of tears,

with our seeping blood,

for we have self cut.

~~~
why do we stand by,
watch our blood flow
as it drips
and pools,
drips and pools
forming lakes
the size of continents.
is it the mesmerizing effects
of redness; a color
haunting in its
place in the universe?
perhaps it is our fear of red
that paralyzes our activities,
limits what we do
to what we already know,
the brain stymied status quo.
we are too enamored
with the maze,
wanting simply for our turn
at its center.
so, while we may act,
even feel good that we do,
the blood still flows,
drip, drip, drip,
pooling ever larger
and mixing with ever deeper
agonizing tears.
~~~

our world is a place of hurt,

chaos already drenches us with

redness,

isn’t it time we move

the pale,

transcend beyond what we know

into what is right?

isn’t it past time

to clog the machinery,

put everything on the line,

turn our criticisms by pen;

turn our hope of the universe

into the swords of revolutionary change.

~~~
our world needs this.
we need this
so we can transcend
out of this maze
and into a new world
and become future people.
A very powerful humanitarian message that should resonate with all to stop the madness in the world and be more tolerant to diversity. We all bleed red as the saying goes...Excellent, sir...:)....................
there is something about that color...meaning "stop" "blood" "hurt"---one of the reasons i never grade in red...
we flinch when we see us...and it reminds us how vulnerable we are.
