Starbucks DoodlingA Poem by redzonecafé, coffee, and people watching...Starbucks Doodling
Verona stirs a creamy song, while Kona wears colorful leis and I watch people and cars pass by, looking like pumpkin spice latte.
As I wait for my coffee, a much-needed triple shot expresso, the bathroom line grows longer.
We use to share a double mocha cappuccino latte, now not even a caramel swirl calls to me, all I drink now is dark and bitter.
This dark roast burns going down, its bitter taste reminds me of my smoldering heart.
Traffic snarls with horns, people walk heads down oblivious to pending societal encounters; some things, not even cheap coffee, can be fixed in metropolitan ameriKKKa. Something much stronger is needed- a sizzling caramel frappe triple shot revolution. And please, make it snappy.
