Stay, sway with me, cover me with your femininity over and over, all over with your hushed tones of night. Stay, sway with me. *** I love how you close my eyes whenever you touch me, and my sighs squeeze and tease when you kiss me over and over, all over at first morning’s light. Stay, sway with me. *** I love how your whisper tickles my ear with goosebumps and smiles tease these lips into puckered submissions and lilac flavored fantasies over and over, all over. Stay, sway with me. *** I just love how you love me. Stay.
"Puckered submissions" OH MY! How can a woman resist the plea of "stay" when it is accompanied by such gloriously romantic imagery? Hinting at the sensual, but so elegant. Curt, you have such a romantic soul! Very "nice". Lydi**

I love that old song E, it's there tucked deep in my heart... thanks for your kind words E..
Soft and romantic -- I especially love the line about closing ones' eyes when they touch you -- so tender, so gentle.

Thought to begin with, this was an illicit affair.
Like the slow build up, as she charms only the way a woman happy in her own skin can. Who cares if it's only a song.

This is a beautifully seductive write! *wink! wink!* One of your finest (I've been saying that a lot on your reviews lately . . . must be that new notebook)! Your word play is exquisite: "you close my eyes when you touch me" (brilliant) . . . "squeeze & tease" . . . "puckered submissions" . . . amazing magic carpet ride thru the currently unreachable playground of sensual fun (((HUGS)))

I almost made it too and then got male stupid jealous and blew it... but this song has always been one of my favorites and the poem is today me singing to the imagination (once again)... so I am glad you enjoyed and overwhelmed by your review... thank you...

but I do understand where you are coming from... love, what it is and means changed in the 9 short years between our ages... though I think this song was somewhat ahead of its time (1961) in seeing each other more eye to eye.. or at least it seemed to me...
we may differ in our experiences, but it also makes for a far better understanding don't you think?
