Witchy RedA Poem by redzone... for my dear friend Lydi, a Friday night tease...“Witchy Red” (...for my dear friend Lydi, a Friday night tease.. Sorry it wasn’t done last night) Oh my she is witchy red, not just those stiletto heels and her strawberry shaded lips, but also those red words floating from her smokey brew, broiling, roiling in that cast iron pot of sensual dreams floating like red ghosts that you etch on the page. It was one black night when she crossed my sight casting her word spells that enticed my love in the majik of sensuous innuendo wrapped temptingly in silky hair’d dreams. Oh my, she is witchy red weaving herself around my soul, her strawberry flavor’d lips enticing me to sing the blues. Aztec Warrior/redzone 8.27.16 Note: the tittle of this poem is also the tittle of a song by Dr. John found in his album “Television” and embedded below. So Lydi, in the tradition of those earlier Friday night poems, hope you have enjoyed this one. Sorry I didn’t get it done last night.
