I like how you have a video suited perfectly to each poem.
I liked this one to very sweet little poem.
sounded very poetic. I mean some poems on this sight are meant to be poems but don't sound like poems, where as yours does.
Keep writing :)

I am the same have got allot of inspiration from songs.
Your very much welcome :)
I think the best thing about this is the imagry used to se the scene for each opportunity for a kiss. Very romantic but also very real. Not cookie cutter but very creative. I love the song as well. Well done.

Awww!!! This is so cute... I really loved the different moments you have said about kissing... What a wonderful way to put the innocence and sweetness of kissing into words... There is nothing better than a love filled kiss from our beloved... So sweetly done...
Sincerely

thanks Dhiman for your words and for your stopping by, i appreciate the words and visit...
Nothing as passionate...as urgent...as that first kiss. The one that starts the world spinning, the waves crashing on the shoreline of passion, the silvery man on the moon to smile. The taste of passion flows through this one. The excitement of a new relationship that can last, but often does not. I was swaying with the words, Curt. So very "nice". Great love poem. Lydi**

I love the line "lips tasting me" sounds much sexier than "mine" -- one minor suggestion -- not to be adhered to if you do not wish -- perhaps shady would be a better choice than shade, or even shade of the tree -- just rolling with your rhythm here, but maybe you like to stop and change the rhythm up mid stream.;) ps I love this song too -- I am pretty sure I used it on some poem or other, though not so effectively as this piece.

I do not always succeed in this...
you may well have used this song in one of your poems, it's a good song... I was watching a movie and this song was in the background so looked it up and wrote the poem...
anyway, thanks KL I always enjoy your company in my poems and your ideas and reviews...
I like the way this isn't so much describing the kiss/kissing, but showing us various different beautiful settings where a kiss would be like the cherry on top of a sundae. I love the idea of being in a relationship/friendship where the natural, logical, spontaneous thing to do is to kiss, rather than talking or otherwise distracting ourselves from a precious lovely moment in time. I'm not familiar with your chosen song, but this reminds me of another song -- just shut up & kiss me! *smile* Kissing takes us away from the cerebral enjoyment of a setting, so we can just soak it in on a sensory level. Great poem!
