I love how she plays the sax in this song... just makes the music that much better... some people say 80's music was not that good, but this is one of the songs/groups from the 80's I would not want to lose... anyway I am glad you liked this poem thanks for visiting.. you didn't forget and hooks did you??!! lol..

I drowned a few sorrows... It's a lovely way to relax. It's not even about the fishing. More the sitting in the sun, having a cold beer, getting really hot then jumping in the lake. I am so thrilled that winter is over and summer is on its way.

Thanks James for stopping by and leaving your thoughts... I often use a song I have been listening to as both inspiration as well as for some of the lines in the poem itself. perhaps I do this too much, as for some it may take away from the creativity I am looking for. I am grateful for your idea here and will think more about my approach..
