Take These Songs

Songs flow through me

falling slowly in time

and these memories;

are they dreams,

are they true,

or fleeting fantasies of you.

If you want me

then reach out and touch me.

I am here

within your sighs,

within your melodies.

So take these songs

and take me home

there’s still the time to fly.

Kate, what a sweet comment and lines that are even better than what I have penned... the movie "Once" is a wonderful romantic movie and sad as well... if you even get the chance to see it, I think you might enjoy it

I'll look around on the net and see if I can find the movie Red. Sounds good.
Perhaps it'll make cleaning the oven more enjoyable.

More like it's the yearly thing...How can it get dirty just using it for heat and not cooking i'll never know.

beats me.. my oven is self cleaning.. and I cook and bake all the time... so it is difficult to push that button every month.. I am ducking cause I think I see a pot heading my way.. lol

Oh My God Your a Genius Red.... I see it forming stanza's already... The Dark abyss of the Night and the speckled white enamel gleaming like the Stars.. She gets lost on an adventure deep into the Oven....

lol... wow a twinkling enamel adventure, sleeves rolled up, glistening sweat dripping from your brows... spray can in one hand, rags in the other, covered in foamy pixie dust!!! are you having fun yet kate?
