FAP #9:  Heart Melodies

Since forever it seems,

the sun rises and falls,

dawn and twilight advance

and will do so far into the galaxy

until Time itself fades.

The pulse that gave us birth

will care less that

we are long gone,

folded back into

star stuff stories

we, like the sun,

have come from.

In this short, finite life,

with all the countless heart melodies

pulsing to this universal time,

spiraling uncontrollably 

along infinities trail,

why did I find the sweetness

of your song?

Why, with all the poets,

crafting and singing words

into mystery,

did I find a heart melody

with soft liquid sighs,

silky tempting thighs,

and eyes searching for

all the allusive whys?

You know I can’t fall for you;

yet I have.

And you say you are crazy!?

Ironic, cause you make me 

want to be sane,

even as I chase after 

the mirage of you;

see the shadow of you

dance and flicker

in the candle’s flame.

Redzone...people have been calling me the romantic writer around here of late, but I can only assume they have not read your heart touching poetry. There is so much love flowing from your words and I feel it...I wonder, does she. It is obvious there is one who you reach for, who seems to be gone or maybe in the shadows somewhere.
