just an "Un" poem.... I do miss her you know...

Un..chain’d

Missing you

is not an option.

It just is,

in all its techni-color’d,

digitally master’d,

fully harmonic,

or is that demonic,

swirling ‘Ds.

And...

it just seems that

I can’t breathe.

Change is one of those

always happening truths.

And now,

you have a different life.

It’s cool really.

Often we sit back and wait for another to unchain us when all along it is us who should remove those chains and head off in another direction. This was very good. I like how you brought this message out clear. I really enjoyed this today.

Thanks Will appreciate the review. Glad you enjoyed this poem. True, but isn't it also true that the one you love(d) still remains in your heart, even if only memory? And aren't we made up of our experiences we've had with others? Perhaps these are all chains that can never set us free and why should they?? But this poem is more about someone I cared for but has a different life and I'm missing her.

Yes you are correct and I do understand. Love, when it's true, never leaves the heart and those memories at times can be so hard, so let's just hope those chains soften over time. And I also know(as far as my review) easier said than done.
