Seriously awesome write and great thoughts here.
Must mention though that the theory of our Ancestors coming from Africa joyfully has been proven false by many. Just as the theory of evolution was proven false.
But so glad to see someone who even has a care to study such things or even have an interest.
Nice work here and appreciate the work and effort into these thoughts.

there are many false "scientists" out there today.. but they are wrong about evolution.. it is the most "Proved" scientific understanding we humans have, everyday in common things we can see it and prove it..
And humans are a single species and our ancestor emerged from Africa.,. DNA and it's trail has led us back to a single area in Africa, this also has been proven and is not false...
it seems that these phoney "scientists" would like nothing better than to stop science and replace it with faith.. for millennia people had "faith the sun revolved around the earth, people were put to death for saying this wasn't true... but as we actually discovered, the earth revolves around the sun.. think how long human understanding and knowledge was held back by such "faith" posing as science..
Hopefully humans will not make these same faith = science errors again, and worse force them on humanity again... did you know Kate that when "faith" ruled the world, they called it the "Dark Ages"... seems with all the different fundamentalism fighting it out today we are headed back into a new Dark Ages only this time with huge supplies of weapons of mass destruction... now there is a chilling thought... I always enjoy sharing ideas and looking into issues, more of this is needed in my opinion... so thanks again Kate.. and I'm glad this poem has sparked some opinions... cool

I really do enjoy spending time and words with you Red, Wish it was more.
The spaces in between are craving content in the contest of life. Shadows cover the flashed displays of colorful lands. You could journey in and out but those but those roaming's and moaning's will disturb the currents of time and complicate the species. Your mountain flowers are mingling with the background and craving the bloom of spring. An excellent write, sir...:).................

I think you are among some of the best poets I have come across on the internet. So your reading and leaving your style reviews mean alot as they are both insightful as well as allowing me to see beyond the words I'v written... this is especially true of the poems that I have read from you (not all of which I have commented on, sorry)...
I guess what I'm getting at is "THANKS"...

Sigh, I read this earlier, wrote out an entire lengthy response of just how it made me feel, and POOF it was gone...you know I felt this one deeply Curt, it's those spaces 'tween that I tend to linger....I could copy and paste every line you've written, it's truly a masterpiece, your heart is as big as the ocean and as grand as majestic mountains, colored me impressed and forever grateful to have you to call 'friend'....xo
Between the moon beam’s desire
and dawn’s colorful display,
are many shades
of sinewy shadows;
Simply stunning....100 compassionate moonbeams
a shadow land

I think and feel that it is only in looking deeply between these spaces that it becomes possible to know and change the world and all its horrors and to realize that even with the LONG history of men dominating women, that this can end and that love in all its light and life is possible... I am not trying to be idealist or wax profane with this reply, but to speak honestly... really Frieda, your comment and KL's allow me to think that perhaps, just maybe, What I write makes a difference...
Frieda, you have my friendship and you have my heart... always!! yes, even on those days that end in "y"... lol
Wow, so biased or no, this is my favourite of yours. It speaks with clarity, vision, depth, empathy, a huge heart, reaching close into the in betweens of my own thoughts and stretching far into human nature itself. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for this gift.
