Oh my, a quiver on your page dear Curt, not sure which line blew my skirt up the highest, they're all sublime!
cinnamon chocolate tumbling into your secret womanly scents...woo
'dove into your wildly raging wind, savoring the peaks, valleys and tangled folds of you'....are you kidding me? SIGH!!
Poetry continues to flow from your pen in inky divine passages, show me how to live indeed! Love the music too....xo

redzone, this one is a metaphorical, whimsical, romantic delight of the senses. I love the allusion to the North wind. Very sensual and absolutely lovely. Great write. I'm saving this into my favorites, because you used such originality and it was refreshing.

So glad this poem touched you. Thanks for reading and leaving such a wonderful review.
This is really wonderful. Powerful images, sensuality, clever metaphor, a wonderful journey of a verse. And while I balk at the mature rating system, I think you should label this one to keep yourself out of trouble.

Ah, KL, so you think I should label as mature... hmmm... but then I wouldn't be the rebel that I am... lol.. and people would get the impression I was respectful or something.... if you don't mind my asking, why do you think it is too mature for a general audience (are there preteens who read and post here at WC??).. I am genuinely curious here, not just being ornery or something. I would love to hear your thoughts on this...

Then I got nabbed by the mature rating police. If you get caught, they strip you of your ability to rate any of your poems and they all will be mature. Do it again after that and you can get kicked out. Trust me, they have a very strict system. If someone flags you or they catch you on a random spot check, you may get a warning, you may not. I just one day could not rate my own poems. It took me weeks to get it reversed, and I was very lucky to do that. I am trying to help you and not have the same thing happen to you. And yes, the problem is, the WC has sponsors, who balk at teens being able to see anything to do with sex, no matter how veiled it is. The mature rating prevents teens who have been truthful about their age upon signing up to see the mature poems. It is a total drag, I know, but I cow tow to it because I like this place over all.
The winds blow and while they move on, they still effect us. They still move us and they still inspire poetry. Ah, but if a man can dive into the raging winds of a woman and savor even her tangled folds, well, that is a man to keep around. "tasting all your needs and desires" mmmmm....now that is a line filled with passion and carnality! May your "nice" poetry continue to flow always, Curt. Such a pleasure to read. Lydi**

Well, I know all about Northern winds and how they feel, not to mention the barrenness of the emotions they often bring to my mind...as Mrs.R has already referred to, the appeal to the sense of taste is quite alluring and appealing...some senses are easy to tap into, but if you can evoke the sense of taste successfully into a poem, well you're gonna go places...and that second-to-last stanza is quite an eye-opener for someone still working their way through their first coffee of the day...whew, could there be a sweeter dive for a man to take? On a quirkier note, I keep returning to the Northern theme and wonder if this dark lady hails from my homeland...for better or worse, they're pretty good at blowing guys over the edge of tomorrow, in a purely literal sense...maybe there are other senses but I'll stick to what i know haha This is hands-down one of your hottest pieces...I've read four pieces today and they've all been dead-sexy...I'm gonna have a hard time walking straight today, not that there's anything wrong with that...for poetry like this, it's a perfectly acceptable trade-off...very nicely done my friend :)

The poem is inspired by someone closer to home. And the poem came about as i was watching "Chocolat" for the third time. It started out somewhat with a different intent but my pen had a mind of it's own. I'm sure you know how this goes. It never works arguing with your muse. I do like this poem and so glad it appealed to you, but walk steady Steve .. HA!
