...rummaging through words...

SOME WORDS

Within, between, amidst, among,

some words that definitely play on your tongue

tickling, raising goose bumps

and contemplative whys.

Within

communicative notes, talking

in the language of Monk’s piano,

swinging jazz disrupts

normal life with wild rebellion.

Between

a dueling conversation of guitar

and saxophone, mystere roams hauntingly

through time and space leaving you

breathless in a rapture embrace.

Amidst

the smooth motion of modern dance,

as muscles stretch

in fluidity and grace, the nature

of human emotion is defined.

Among

the deep range of a Bocelli song,

haiku dreams find romance

and the feel of acrylics

meander on lips,

linger in curiosity.

Art is the nature of human touch

reaching far into our

multi-dimensional world.

She speaks to me with your tongue

and wildly flavored lips.

Within, between, amidst, among �"

words that are definitely sung

on flowering art, written

with your tangerine tasting kiss.

I like the flow of this write, your expression with words, when you speak "Within, between, amidst, among", is much appreciative, that`s all what catch my whole attention reading these lines millions of times. I really find some calmness which reflecting into the words. Great job!

I love these lines and they speak a truth that I subscribe to. I like how you have woven an art theme through this, especially music, along with the different forms of communication and "duelling conversations". This poem is wonderful art. It's unusual, creative and reflective of an abstract thought process. Stunning writing. Penny
