Lavender and musk;

you and me

dip ourselves on the page

creating moments that breathe

harmonies of touching skin.

Come dance with me

til love’s end.

walking wisteria’s dream,

laughing with lilac’s promise

of poetry written

hand in hand.

Adriatic spice and Kilimanjaro air;

you and me.

Teach me words

spoken before a kiss

and fly beyond the limits

of what is known.

What a gorgeous poem ! Oh a symphony of emotions dancing in the verse. Kilimanjaro - you brought back many memories of my childhood in Africa - wow 1
