you wrote haiku

while exploring Saturn’s rings;

you spoke sonnets

to E. Browning

and broke a raven’s heart.

you ran your fingers through my hair,

held my heart in fingers flair;

you wrote

‘bout eating the colors

at the top of a rainbow.

yesterday...

How could I not

fall...

    fall...

fall in love;

fall for you.

yesterday,

today,

tomorrow,

your poetry will play

with my tongue.
