Craving Destiny

Craving Destiny

A Poem by redzone
"

"don't we all look to be more than we are? to change the world with our presense.."

CRAVING DESTINY

"…… Our hearts and our minds

they’re one and the same

cause you are my kind."

~~ Santana, featuring Seal (from the album "Shaman")

Long ago I came to see

how I needed you so;

how the gate and flow

of your textured red legs

would bend and go

on forever filling my mind

with world conquering adventure.

Your lava breath dialectics

entwined with desire’s

passioned wild fires

craving destinies

grandest glories, carving

paths, seeking heights

where air is crisp, clean,

warm to the touch,

where soul dreams awaken.

I think I was somehow

always searching for you,

for the tangled darkness

in your woman’s scent,

the redness of musky mystery

that all is knowable

if you dare to be true;

never fearing where openness

will lead you.

Or, willing to see the

beauty of human beings.

Long ago I was aware

of my love, my flare,

my need to breathe in your air

so that in your truth

I am able to find,

"…you are my kind".

I think Mr. H. W. has an answer and a sort of philosophy that is in tie with your work, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ri7TcukAJ8
