How time flies

How time flies

A Poem by redthai

My, Oh! My, how time flies

I noticed

Sprinkling of greys around the edges of me

Fine minuscule crinkles at the corners of my eyes of remembered laughter and salty tears

Oh my! Time really do flies

Youthful dreams of love and loving and lost

Fade like blissful ignorance of things too hard to comprehend.

How time have gone by.

Oh! My! Time have indeed gone by

Sweet memories of conquered fears, and pains

Past experiences too hard to bear

Come to mind like weathered seasons

And fade again leaving fractured glimpses of consequences borne.

And I laugh, I cry and I remember avoided truths that were really lies

My! Oh my! How time flies
