Tomorrow, I Won't...

Tomorrow, I Won't...

A Poem by Laine
"

Clickity Click Clickity Click Clickity Click That is the sound of my fingers On the keys of the old typewriter

"

Tomorrow, I Won't...

Clickity Click

Clickity Click

Clickity Click

That is the sound of my fingers

On the keys of the old typewriter

As I write down my memories

My memories of you

Tears run down my cheeks

As I remember your face

Your soft smile

The mischief in your eyes

I miss you so much

I want you here

Here in my arms again

I want to see your smile

I want to push that one strand out of your face

I want to see your eyes

Those eyes

That shine like precious stones

Sapphires or lapis lazuli

Those eyes that make my heart beat faster

Every time I saw you

But never will again

Thinking of you now

Just makes my heart ache

Makes tears run down my face

I loved you

I will always love you

Even now that you’re...

Gone

Clickity Click

Clickity Click

Clickity Click

Tomorrow will be different

Tomorrow will be different

Tomorrow will be different

Tomorrow, I won’t remember your eyes

Tomorrow, I won’t remember your smile

Tomorrow, I won’t remember your kisses

Tomorrow, I won’t remember how I feel in your arms

Tomorrow, I won’t remember how much I love you

Tomorrow, I won’t cry

Tomorrow, I’ll hold back my tears

Tomorrow, I’ll ignore the ache of my forever broken heart

Tomorrow... I will try and forget you

I know I won’t ever

But I can try at least

I'm writing a lot of these as... I've been kinda sad lately so... it leads to me writing all these sad, depressing poems
