Roads

The road you walk

Is yours to choose.

A road to love,

or to abuse.

And yet this road

Is not of ease.

You cannot do

what all you please.

Because, you see,

Our roads are shared.

Intertwining

Everywhere.

You make a turn

Where some go straight,

You rush ahead

Some try to wait.

Where they all end

None living know.

So until then,

on you must go.

Remember though

You've just one shot.

To walk this road,

That's all you've got.

So do your best,

Make it your plan,

To help those ones

Who need a hand.

You have no right

To harm the road

Of anyone,

Where ere they go.

We all must try

Our very best

To help each other

Through this test.

And while our roads

Will all still end,

We can, at least,

All walk as friends.
