The Night

A random poem I wrote at work.

I lost my way

     The Night is come.

I've hell to pay

     The Night is come.

My mind laid bare

     The Night is long.

The beasts are there

     The Night is long.

I cannot fight

     The Night is dark.

I lose my light

     The Night is dark.

A hand appears

     The Night is strong.

It dries my tears.

The night is gone.
