1. The way the grass sparkles like diamonds in the morning sun.

2. The way you can see your breath like a dragon blowing smoke.

3. Jack Frost nipping your nose.

4. Snow.

5. Knowing that it's hot in hell, but cold on Earth, giving you that feeling of being closer to heaven.

6. Having your fingers go numb.

7. Fern-frost.

8. Sliding on ice and pretending you're a figure skater.

9. Frozen waterfalls.

10. Hot chocolate.

11. Peppermints.

12. Frosty air chilling your cheeks.

13. Having school canceled for snow.

14. Frost on branches.

15. Making snowflakes out of paper.

Author's Note

Westminster Abbey
I just compiled a list of a bunch of things that I LOVE about the wintertime. A lot of people find winter dark and depressing, but I find it mysterious and magical. Hope this helps brighten up your January! :)

It actually did brighten up my January a bit, thanks! :)

I like Winter, but it's much too still for my liking. I know that it isn't really, but I can't exactly go outside in my condition. :/

I miss the birds...

Anyway, very nicely written! :)
