Rest in Heavenly Peace

Rest in Heavenly Peace

A Poem by Westminster Abbey
"

A tribute to those lost in Connecticut on Friday. Sung to the tune of "Silent Night"

"

Silent Night, Humble Night,

All is Quiet, Everyone Cries

Twenty children were murdered Friday.

They won't live to see Christmas day.

Rest in heavenly peace.

Rest in heavenly peace.

Silent Night, Dreadful Sight

Mourning Loss, What a Plight.

Forty parents are left without child.

Innocent ones so Tender and Mild.

Rest in heavenly peace.

Rest in heavenly peace.

Silent Night, Eyes so Wide

Kids are frozen in their fright.

Six adults were murdered as well.

The children watched them as they fell.

Rest in heavenly peace.

Rest in heavenly peace.

Westminster Abbey
I meant to write this on Sunday. It was inspired by Saturday Night Live, believe it or not. It goes to the tune of Silent Night. I was gonna upload a video of me singing it, but I can't figure out how to on my movie maker. Oh, well. This song is too low for me, anyway. Tell me what you think! :)

Beautifully written, tugs at my heart. Sending good thoughts the way of the families, as I'm sure you are.

It's so sad... That all their parents had there Christmas gifts ready to go, and then realize there child was killed.. >:,'(
They had so much to look forward to, so much to do.. Crying right now...

It makes my stomach turn that someone could murder 20 people, and then leave like nothing at all happened.

But, now we all know whose going to go to hell, and whose gonna go to heaven.
