December.A Poem by Westminster AbbeyI've got a crush on Jack Frost...December.
December, Oh silver December, Oh, the Joys you dare to bring! For Jack Frost, my Love, Comes only on your Wing. So creative is he, Making fern-frost on my glass. Oh, the fun we’ll have, Until December comes to pass. But until then, we sing, ‘May the winter bring you bliss, May your holidays be happy, And grant your every wish.’
‘For December is a miraculous time That conveys us every Wonder. There is nothing to detest, Even breathtaking Winter Thunder.’
I am in love with this winter Sprite; My heart races when he’s near. Memories frozen in time, I know there’s nothing to fear. December, Oh silver December, Oh, the Joys you dare to bring! For Jack Frost, my Love, Comes only on your Wing. © 2012 Westminster AbbeyAuthor's Note
