Bi

Bi

A Poem by redalia
"

for a homophobe, most likely

"

I like my tea with milk

and my sheets silk

I like earthy scents

and flowery sweat

so

paint me confused

frame me,

whatever

just because

your cookie cutter

doesn’t go through this dough

you kick about

pray

rob me

of your ignorance

go

wallow

in your own lone hole

Hahaha
I like your introductory confidence in your personal taste and your apathic "tell off" of the other's refusal/ignorance
I feel exactly like this sometimes
Thanks for sharing this poem of yours:)
It's a great one, as usual

thank you so much! writing is a great way to let off some steam. i'm happy it was relatable to you!
OK. I'm so glad you reviewed one of mine because it led me to yours... Your economy of words, the punch of emotion, I can feel the spat irritation. This is my favourite of yours (so far) xx

I love it! I can feel your anger for those ignorant people.

happy to hear that, thank you!!
Loved the imagery with the cookie cutter. A personal and therefore powerful piece.
