Wilder Days

Wilder Days

Wilder Days

Matthew’s Song

There’s a story that’s never been told

The story of you and me

Could be Romeo and Juliet

If only it was as easy as that

There’s a time that lies forgotten

Somewhere in our minds

Where we could be anything

A world of no behinds

Let’s go back, to the wilder days

Back when it was just me and you

You’d just smile at me

Like you cared

And you’d be my man

Just like that

There’s a place that’s still unplotted

A place that we once knew

It got those rollercoasters

Rockstar posters like you

There’s a song I haven’t dared to sing

The song of me and you

Because when I look to the skies above

I’m scared it could be love

Let’s go back, to the wilder days

Back when we were just strangers

I’d just smile and say

I love you, Matthew

And you’d be my man

Just like that

I’d look in your eyes and know

You’d never make me fall

You look at me in all honesty

And your heart would say it all

Let’s go back, to the wilder days

Back when it was just you and me

You’d just smile at me

And I knew you cared

And you were my man

Just like that

Just like that

I love you Matthew
